Book Club:

The next meeting of the Book Club will be on Sept. 28th at the home of Paul Van de Kamer. It will be held at 11:30 for Burgers and Libations followed by our discussion of the book "A Dangerous Fortune"  by Ken Follett. ) Please note change of date and time. New members are welcome.

Outdoors Group :

The Outdoors Group has been hiking every other week. The next hike will be on August 23 at RIM Park.  Dorian Hausman, Don Nightingale and Jim Bowman are the most regular hikers.  Contact any of them if you would like more information about the Outdoors Group.

Upcoming Events:

October 5: Fall Colour Tour

Will leave the Waterloo Rec Centre (where we park for our meeting) at 8:30 aboard a washroom equipped coach.

Warren Stauch, will take us on a tour of the escarpment, heading north after a break near Milton.  We'll see the roads less travelled  and travel through the Hockley Valley. We'll stop for a buffet lunch at the Orangeville Legion which is accessible. The tour is expected to return about 4:30 or 5:00.  We hope to see some wonderful fall colours.

The price is being finalized (around about $60 per person).  Tickets will be on sale at the August meeting. 

October 18: Car Rally

The rally will begin at 2:00 PM from the Parkminster United Church parking lot and will end about 8:00 P.M. The cost is $30 per person and includes an afternoon refreshments and a roast beef dinner. Entrance fees will be collected at the Aug. Mtg. Anyone who has prizes to donate should contact Swain Van Camp - 519 884 0505.

A firendly reminder that 2011/2012 Membership Fees are now due.

The membership renewal fee for the 2011/2012 year is $55.00; ProBuzz, the club’s newsletter, will be emailed to you each month.

Alternatively, for an additional $10.00, your copies of ProBuzz will be printed and mailed to you each month, for a total renewal fee of $65.00.
