Book Club Announcement:

The book club will resume on Sept. 18 at 2:00pm as usual on the third Wednesday of the month. Discussion of the book "View from Castle Rock" by Alice Monroe, will be at the home of Dick Bryden. It's a series of short stories wonderfully  woven together as only a literary artist can do.

Supper Club Announcement:

We are approaching the first anniversary of the Supper Club. The club now has two groups, consisting of 13 Probus members and their guests/spouses. One group meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month while the other group meets on the 3rd Monday.  In addition, there are 6 members on our guest list.

If there is sufficient interest, we will organize another group starting in the fall.  If you are interested, please contact Jim Bowman at jbbowman@rogers.com or John Rule at jsrule@rogers.com

We would need to know what nights of the week you would be available, and whether you would be bringing a spouse/guest with you.

Over the past year, we have had the pleasure of dining at the following restaurants:  Ennios, Golf's, Three Kretans, Del Dente, Borealis, Green Gables Guest House, Janet Lynn's, Jake & Humphreys,  Thai Sun, @271West, Sole, the Old Marina, and the Nith River Chop House.
