Book Club:

The next meeting of the book club will be held on Wed. June 22nd, at the home of Lynn Matthews at 2:00 pm. The book being discussed is “Fugitive Pieces" by Anne Michaels. Newcomers welcome. The Book Club will not meet again until Sept.

Investment-Financial Club:

The next meeting: Wednesday, July 13, 7.30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. @ the home of Don Nightingale, 189 Candlewood Cres, Waterloo. The topic: Fixed Income Investment in a Rising Interest Rate Environment. All are welcome. Call Don if you are interested .

Outdoors Group :

On Tuesday June 14, meet at 8:00 for coffee/breakfast at Bonnie Lou’s Country Café, 2262 Floradale Rd/Township Rd [19] at corner of Ruggles Rd/Weaver St. There is limited, angle parking on Ruggles Road as well as behind Bonnie Lou’s Country Café.

Special Events:

Saturday, June 18 – The trip to Port Dover is all set to go. A couple of different departure times have been communicated. The correct time is 9:00 A.M. The bus will depart from the west parking lot at the Waterloo Recreation Complex. This is the same lot in which we park for our monthly meetings. Please contact Brian Hendley if you have any questions.

Upcoming Events:

Last month you were asked to keep the evening of Thursday, June 30 free for a tour of an advanced dairy farm.  This tour has been deferred until the early fall.

Other events you may want to make note of are:

December 14: Annual Christmas Lunch













Membership Fee for 2011/2012:

The Executive is pleased to announce that, despite a sharp rise in the cost of coffee, we have been able to hold the basic membership fee for the coming year at its current $55.00 level. We have decided however, that the cost of mailing printed copies of ProBuzz each month has reached a level that we should pass the cost on to those members who want printed copies. The membership fee for these members will be $65.00 for the year.

Please bring a cheque for your membership fee to the June 28 meeting. You will be able to let us know your choice then, and give us your email address if we do not already have it. If anyone has access to a computer, but is not already using it to receive ProBuzz by email, we can provide help in getting you going.

You don't need to complete a renewal form if the information shown in the Club Directory is correct.

If you aren't coming to the next meeting, you can find a renewal form on the club's web site kwprobus.com; halfway down the Navigation menu on the left. If you click on “Membership Renewal”, it will lead you to a form you can print. If you have no access to a computer please mail your cheque to:
