25TH ANNIVERSARY MEETING

April 30th 2013 will be a special meeting to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of our club. Neil Aitchison will be our Master of Ceremonies. There will be representatives from the municipal councils, Probus Canada, and KidsAbility.  Presentations by three of our own members will recount the history of our club over the years, and a cheque for $5,000 will go to KidsAbility.

The meeting will be held at the Luther Village Great Hall at 139 Father David Bauer Drive. It will feature coffee before the meeting with a cash bar after and a delicious lunch included with the modest price of your ticket.

The lunch will be Buffet Style with beef, chicken, salad, vegetables and dessert. A vegetarian option is available. You can contact Swain Van Camp for this and any other food concerns.

Tickets are $20 if purchased by April 1st.  After that the price per ticket will be $30.  If you are not going to be in attendance on March 26, or if you know members who will not be there, you might want to obtain tickets by calling Bruce Hannah (519-741-7377).

Special Interest Groups

Our club has seven special interest groups that have proven invaluable for developing fellowship amongst members. Many of these have room for additional members. Others are looking for new members to form an additional chapter within the group.

It can be a daunting task for newer members to become acquainted by just attending monthly meetings with dozens of strangers that change from month to month.

You can always find information about the groups by following the link in the Navigation column at far left, but the links below will take you there directly.

If you don't see an existing group that interests you, why not suggest a new group that matches your personal interest or hobby?  In our target membership of 140 there may be others who would appreciate your getting the ball rolling.
