Book Club:

The November meeting of the Book Club will be held at the home of Dick Bryden at 2:00 pm on Wednesday Nov. 16. Book under discussion will be "The Girl with the Pearl Earing" by Tracy Chevalier. (Life and time of Vermeer, the Dutch artist.). There will be no meeting in December but the January meeting will be at the home of Bill Trotter on January 18th  at 2:00pm. The book for discussion is "Paris 1919" by Margaret MacMillan. This is about the post World War I six months conference at which time the powers of the world divided up the world and probably created more problems than it solved. As always, new members are welcome.
