Book Club
The Book Club will be meeting at the home of Dick Bryden on Wednesday, Oct. 17th at 2:00 pm. The book under discussion is "The Savage War". Newcomers welcome.

Outdoors Group
The Outdoors Group hikes on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. You can also find out about our times and locations for hikes by looking at the Event Calendar on the club website.

Financial Group
The Financial Group has now established a common meeting time: the last Friday of each month (excluding December/July/August) from 9:30am to 11:00am. Our October 26th meeting will be held at the home of Ed. Piwowarek. Our prime discussion topic
will be the impact of the price of oil on our standard of living along with other oil related financial topics.  Our member count stands at ten. If you would like to join our group please contact

Upcoming Events:


Oct. 23 – Annual Probus Car Rally
The Car Rally is being organized by Fred Beattie and Peter Naus. It will take place on Tuesday, October 23, 2012.  You should be registered by the time you read this.  It will start from the  ‘Sportsworld Crossing Twin Pad’,  located at Sportsworld Crossing Road at 1:00 PM.  If you have any questions please contact Peter Naus at 894-2796. 

December 12 – Christmas Luncheon.

This popular event will once again be held at St. George's Banquet Hall. Tickets will be on sale at the October meeting.
