Book Club:

The next meeting of the Book Club will be on Sept. 28th at the home of Paul Van de Kamer. It will be held at 11:30 for Burgers and Libations followed by our discussion of the book "A Dangerous Fortune"  by Ken Follett. ) Please note change of date and time. New members are welcome.

Outdoors Group :

Dorian Hausman, Don Nightingale and Jim Bowman are the most regular hikers.  Contact any of them if you would like more information about the Outdoors Group.

Upcoming Events:

October 5: Fall Colour Tour

There are still a few places left on the bus fo this tour. If you are interested, please contact Don Blaindon.blain@rogers.com.

The tour will be of the escarpment, on roads less travelled  including the Hockley Valley. There will be a buffet lunch at the Orangeville Legion. The tour is expected to return about 4:30 or 5:00. 

 

October 18: Car Rally

The rally will begin at 2 pm on Tuesday. Oct. 18th. Dinner and awards should be finished by 8pm. Individual starting times will be provided at a later date. The cost is $30.00 p/p and includes the dinner and snack. A cash bar will be available at dinner. The secret location of the dinner will be revealed to you during the Rally.






The team of Ted Harris, Joe Elliott, Paul Schellenberg and Swain Van Camp have been busy developing a new course.  Contact Swain  if you would like to enter a team of 4 or if you would like him to match you with another couple. There is still room for  more participants. Tel: 519 884 0505

Gord Ferguson was interviewed in The Record about the governments decision to add the word “Royal” back into the names of the Air Force and Navy.
